President for 2006, called the meeting to order on January 1st 2006,
2:00 p.m. at Ludlow Field.

Old Business:
1) Reminder that Fly-In is scheduled for May 13 at 8:00 am.
Landing fee will be $5
New Business:
1) Lou reminded people to be careful around props and to make
sure you have your name and AMA number inside your plane.
2) Field maintenance items that need to be addressed.
a. Field needs to be rolled when the weather permits.
b. The big wind sock needs to be put back up.
c. The storage shed needs to be repainted.

3) Northwest Florida Modelers is again having a swap meet/flea
market on Saturday, Feburary 18, 2006, 4:00 to 9:00pm at the senior
citizens center, 57th Ave, Pensacola FL.
4) Jun. 3 & 4, Sat. & Sun. - AMA & ACMA will present an AMA District
V Fly-In Jamboree at Irvington Field.
New Business:
1) Lou reminded everyone that safety should be #1 on everyone’s
mind especially around props.

2) Jun. 3 & 4, Sat. & Sun. - AMA & ACMA will present an AMA District V
Fly-In Jamboree at Irvington Field.

1) There was a report on a near miss and a reminder for everyone to use
the stands to secure there models when they are being started.
2) It is getting close to grass cutting season again and the lawn mowers
need to be serviced as well as the trimmers.
3) There are a few members who need to verify that there AMA insurance
is up to date.

Old Business:
1) Our next Fly-In will be Saturday October 28th. There will be a $5
landing fee. Flyers have been placed at Mobile’s Hobbytown.
2) A new weed-eater for the field was purchased.
New Business:
1) Vote was taken to setup an emergency fund with $2,000. Harold will
setup the fund. An agreement of officers will be required for use of the
fund.
2) Discussion about AMA and field rules was held. If you use the field
after hours make sure that it is left in the same or better condition.
Non members are not allowed to fly at the field.
3) The lock on the gate is going to be changed at the next meeting. Keys
will be given out to people attending. You will need to contact Harold
if you need a new key.

Approx $5,000.00 in the bank. The Fly-In made about $40.
Old Business:
1) The Fly-In had a good turn out. The field was in great shape. Thanks
to Jeff, Duane and Don.
New Business:
1) The lock has been changed on the gate. Keys were given to paid
members at the meeting. You will need to contact Don Underwood if you
need a key.
2) Nominations and Elections for officers will be held at the next
meeting.
3) The fences and pilot stations need to have some maintenance done on
them.
4) Just a reminder that AMA dues renewal is getting close.
5) The next Fly-In date was set for May 12, 2007.
