2)
The county set the new 6x6 post. It was discussed to either wait
on our personnel to build the bay extensions or go ahead with the
contract price that was quoted to us. It was decided to go with the
contract price and get it finished. As of 1/10/05, the bays were
complete and now the tin is all that is needed.
3)
The next fly-in has been scheduled; it will be May 7th
2005. If anyone needs flyers for this event just e-mail me at
koastair@aol.com and let me know.
New Business
1)
The Perry, GA swap meet is scheduled for March 5th and
6th 2005. There are several of us that have talked about
going. We would leave on a Friday morning (about a 6 hour drive) and
return the following Saturday night. There are a lot of hotels in the
area. My Dad and I went last year and we stayed at a nice hotel about a
mile from the fairgrounds for about $50.00. It is worth the trip just
to see this swap meet. If you’re interested in going, e-mail me at
koastair@aol.com or give me a call @228-326-5142.
Meeting adjourned at
2:30 pm

Just a note to all club members:
The spring and summer are approaching
quickly as you know. That means longer days and a lot more flying
time. But your help is needed. I am as guilty as anyone else, but it
seems like the same people do all of the cutting and edging at the field
all of the time. Lets get together and help out as much as possible.
